BRE Drop Hammer Testing (BRE Screed Test)

We carry out BRE testing in accordance with BS 8204-1 & BS 8204-7 to determine screed soundness, compaction and in-situ crushing resistance.

Surface Regularity (SR1 / SR2 / SR3) Testing

Using precision straightedge assessments, we classify the screed surface as:

  • SR1 – High standard (≤3mm deviation)
  • SR2 – Normal standard (≤5mm deviation)
  • SR3 – Utility standard (≤10mm deviation)

Surface regularity is critical for finishes such as vinyl, resin flooring and large-format tile systems.
