UK Resilient Structures Ltd is a specialist design and verification consultancy supporting the construction and redevelopment of resilient buildings and infrastructure.
We provide technical services for projects affected by ground gas, radon, contaminant vapours, groundwater and other below-ground risks.
Our objective is straightforward: to provide protection systems that are technically appropriate, practical to construct and supported by clear evidence of correct installation.
UKRS specialises in:
This specialist focus allows us to identify interfaces and construction risks that can be missed when protection systems are designed or reviewed in isolation.
UKRS is led by Jack Errington, Lead Designer and Director.
With specialist experience in structural waterproofing, ground gas protection, membrane systems and verification, UKRS provides clients with a consistent technical contact throughout each commission.
Our technical leadership includes CSSW-qualified expertise in structural waterproofing design and the assessment of below-ground protection systems.
Independent verification is an important part of construction quality assurance.
Where UKRS is appointed as the independent verifier, our assessment is undertaken separately from the installer. Defects and non-conforming details are recorded objectively, with repairs inspected or retested before acceptance.
UKRS may provide clients with details of suitably experienced installation contractors. However, the appointment of an installer does not alter our responsibility to report independently on the installation.
UKRS maintains professional indemnity insurance appropriate to our specialist design and consultancy services.
Where required by the project appointment, we can also discuss collateral warranties and project-specific contractual requirements.
We work with:
Send us your site investigation, drawings or proposed protection strategy and we will advise on the appropriate UKRS service.
